I just paid for That Dam Half-Marathon.
I can’t believe it will be here in two weeks. I’ve worked really hard, and even though I’ve been laid up a little in the last 10 days because I’ve been sick I’m still really optimistic. On my last long run I thought, “it’ll only be a few more miles in the half” and it honestly sounded reasonable! I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I know the marathon will be such a different story. Still, I’m excited about both.
